Advertising Cookies

They are usually placed on behalf of advertising networks with the site operator’s permission. Third Party Cookie Disclosures

Some cookies, pixels, web beacons, and other tracking and storage technologies that we use are from third party companies (third party cookies) to provide us with web analytics and intelligence about our sites which may also be used to provide measurement services, targeted advertising, and contextual advertising. These companies use programming code to collect information about your interaction with our Platform, such as the pages you visit, the links you click on, and how long you are on our Platform. This code is only active while you are on our Platform. Sensitive Personal Data

The California Privacy Rights Act identifies the following as “Sensitive Personal Information”: personal information that reveals (1) a consumer’s Social Security or other state identification number such as a driver’s license; (2) a consumer’s account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; (3) consumer’s geolocation; (4) consumer’s racial or ethnic origin; (5) religious or philosophical beliefs; (6) union membership; (7) the contents of a consumer’s mail, email, or text messages, unless the business is the intended recipient of the communication; and (8) consumer’s genetic data.

We either do not collect any Sensitive Personal Information, or we do not use that Sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about you.

How Your Information May be Used with Third Parties

Any aggregated data or any information which does not identify any individual and de-identified data may be disclosed to third parties by us without any restrictions. We are not obligated to first receive consent before disclosing any such data or information. Any information that you have made public before we collected it may also be shared without restriction. 

We may use your information and data for direct marketing purposes. This may include us using your information to contact you about our own or third parties’ goods or services that we or they think may be of interest to you. If you would like to opt-out, follow the instructions provided in the “Your Rights” section. If any direct marketing communications are sent through email, there will be an opt-out link or an unsubscribe link in every email message containing commercial advertising.

We may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. You can opt-out at any time by following the instructions provided in the “Your Rights” section of this policy.

We will also disclose your information for analytics purposes.

Third Parties

  • Third Party Tracking

We do not control third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. 

  • Third-Party Disclosures

We may disclose personal information that we collect or that you provide as described in this privacy policy as follows:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. For example, you can opt-out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Platform may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

  • Right to Know and Be Informed

You have the right to ask us what kind of data we process, why it is necessary for us to collect, with whom we intend to share your information, your rights relating to your data, and inferences we draw from your data.   • Right to Access

You have the right to access your personal data that we process.   • Right to Opt-Out
  • You have the right to opt-out of the selling or sharing of your personal information with third parties. We use Google Analytics, which requires a third party to place its tracking cookies on our site.   • You have the right to object to us and third parties from selling your data, for any purpose. If you are age 16 or older, you have the right to direct us not to sell your personal information at any time. We do not sell the personal information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years old. Consumers who opt-in to personal information sales may opt-out of future sales at any time.

  • Right to Deletion

You have the right to request that we delete any of the personal information that we collect from you and retain, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review your request to see if an exception allows us to retain the information. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:

  • Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
  • Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.

We will delete or de-identify personal information not subject to one of these exceptions from our records and will direct our service providers to take similar action.

  • Right to No Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you if you exercise any of your rights. However, we may charge different prices or provide different levels of services to you if the difference is reasonably related to the value provided to us by your data. Further, we retain the right to provide financial incentives for the ability to collect, sell, share, or retain personal information (if consented to).

  • Right to Rectification

You have the right to direct us to change or modify the data we have collected from you if you believe that the data is inaccurate or out-of-date.

We do not support Do Not Track (“DNT”). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to exercise the data owner’s rights. You may only request to exercise your rights twice in any 12-month period. 

Your request must:

  • Provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative of the individual whom we collected personal information from.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
  • We may ask that you provide us with further information to help us verify your identity.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or your authority to make the request or if we cannot confirm that the personal information relates to you. We will only use the personal information provided in the request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make it. At a minimum, your name and email address must be present in your request. You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request. However, we do consider requests made through your password-protected account sufficiently verified when the request relates to the personal information associated with that specific account.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 days of receiving it. We will then work to deliver you the requested information within 45 days of receiving the request.

We will respond to most consumer requests within 30-45 days of receipt, depending upon where you reside. However, some requests may take longer. We will notify you in writing if we need more time to respond. Normally, we do not charge a fee to process or respond to consumer requests. However, for residents of certain states or countries, we may charge a fee if the request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

All payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.

All information collected from you is encrypted using SSL technology.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in any public areas of our Platform. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of our Platform.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Platform. We will only retain your information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes that it was processed. 

We may decide to keep your data in perpetuity if it can no longer identify you individually.

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page, along with a notice on our Website home page indicating that the privacy policy has been updated. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you through a notice on our Website home page and via email. The date this privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, active, and deliverable email address for you. You are also responsible for periodically visiting our Website and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
